Ensemble Ambrosius is a group that concentrates in contemporary music using mostly Baroque instruments. It was formed in 1995 and from the very beginning the music of Frank Zappa has been one of their main focuses. Approved by the Zappa Family Trust, the liner notes include Ali N. Askin talking enthusiastically about the music, with it's "unconventional usage of instruments, unexpected turns and cool combinations. I was just enjoying the music, which was so familiar, but yet sounded so different."
